Day 01: ARRIVAL AT DWARKA
Arrive in Dwarka. Proceed to hotel. Dwarka would undoubtedly raise a sensation of Lord Krishna everywhere in your environment. The first place to visit is the Dwarkadhish Temple moving forward to Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and Nageshwar Shiva Temple. Overnight stay at Dwarka.
DAY 02: DWARKA – BET DWARKA – DWARKA
Starting fresh on the Devabhoomi you would then start travelling for Bhait Dwarika a journey by road and crossing the sea you reach at the beautiful place of lord Krishna. You also won’t miss out from the places like Rukshamanee Mandir, Gomti Ghat, Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Mandir, Sudama Setu (Sudama Bridge), Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Dwarka and Gopi Talab. Overnight stay at Dwarka.
Day 03: DWARKA – PORBANDAR – SOMANTH
Morning proceed to Porabandar, Visit Kirti temple, Sudam known as house & born place of Mahatma Gandhi. In back side house of Kasturba wife of Gandhi. Also visit of Gandhi museum, study room of Mahatma Gandhi in the Kirti temple. Later visit of Sudama temple & continue proceed to Somnath, Somnath, literally meaning ‘lord of the moon’ is a pilgrim center and is home to one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. It is a town which derives much of its identity from the mythology, religion, and legends that surround it. Evening Aarti Darshan at Somnath Temple – A lord Shiva temple known as Jyotirling built by Moon God. Enjoy lighting and sounding Show. Overnight stay at Somnath
Day 04: SOMNATH – JUNAGADH (Approx. 90km/1.5hrs)
After breakfast Visit Somnath Jyotirlinga Mandir – one of the most sacred Jyotirlings of Lord Shiva. Proceed to Junagarh a city located at the foot of the Girnar Hills. Visit Narsimha temple, Shakarbagh Zoo, The Uparkot Fort & Buddhist Cave-Sites, Ashoka’s Rock Inscriptions (3Rd Century Bc), Palace Museum, 18th & 19th Century Royal Mausoleum Complexes, Nawabi Buildings And Museum Overnight stay at Junagadh.
Day 05: JUNAGARH – GIRNAR PARVAT – JUNAGADH (Approx.32km/30min)till steps
After breakfast Visit Girnar Parvat and Jalaram Bappa temple – belonging to a great saint of Virpur Gujarat.
Situated at the far end of the ancient town of Junagadh, climbing Mount Girnar is one of the reputed excursions for Hindu and Jain pilgrims. It is the highest mountain in the state of Gujarat. Girnar is an ancient hill in Junagadh which has 866 Hindu and Jain temples that are spread over various summits. The climb to Girnar Hill summit starts from Girnar Taleti. On reaching the summit, you can see many mountains further but they are usually not scaled. Mount Girnar is also known as Girnar Parvat (translated as a hill in local
language Gujarati), is believed to be older than the Himalayas. The Jain temples on the mountain are considered as the most ancient temples in India. The mountain is celebrated as the Nirvan Bhumi of the 22nd Tirthankara Lord Neminath. Overnight stay at Junagadh.
Day 06: JUNAGARH – BHAVNAGAR (Approx. 220km/4.5hrs)
After breakfast Proceed to Bhavnagar. Visit Kodiyar Mata Mandir – is one of the well-known places to see in Bhavnagar. The area around the temple has a picturesque scenic beauty, which also includes a crystal clear lake. As the temple is located on the bank of this lake, tourists never miss to enjoy its tranquility. Also visit Gandhi Smriti Museum. Overnight stay at Bhavnagar
Day 07: BHAVNAGAR PALITANA (Approx. 56km/1hrs)
After breakfast Visit Shatrunjaya hills (Palitana)– the largest temple city of its kind in India, with 863 temples on the hilltop. Visit Chaumukh or the four faced shrine having images of Shri Adinath facing out in the four cardinal directions. Also visit Adinath Temple, Shri Adishwar. Built over 900 years, the Palitana Temples are 853 in number and dedicated to the Jain Thirthankars. The main temple is dedicated to Lord Rishabdev, the first Tirthankar. The temples, which were built in two phases, the first of which dates back to the 11th and 12th century AD, are an important site for Jain pilgrimage.A majority of the temples are located on the Shatrunjaya hills and pilgrims climb over 3500 stairs to pay a visit to the 853 temples situated at a height of 603 meters. There are multiple routes to reach the last temple which is approximately a 3.5 km climb. The shortest route goes around the outer walls of the temples and passes Angar Pir, Proceed to Bhavnagar for night stay. Overnight stay at Bhavnagar
Day 08 : BHAVNAGAR – VADODARA (170KM – 3HRS .45MINS)
After breakfast, Proceed to Vadodara. On arrival at Vadodara check in to hotel. In the evening enjoy local shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09 : VADODARA – AHMEDABAD
Early morning proceed to kevadiya and visit Sardar Sarovar Dam- a gravity dam on Narmada River and Statue of Unity – the world’s tallest statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Visit Valley of flowers carpet of multi – coloured flowers And later proceed to Ahmadabad.
Finally you will be taken to Koteshwar, a small village location developed around the famous Lord Shiva Mandir. The square reservoir present here serves as the place for people performing Shraddh ceremony or taking a dip to cool off. During the evening time you will be attending the pious Koteshwar Mahadev Mandir. Later return back to hotel and overnight stay at Bhuj.
Day 10 : AHMEDABAD – PATAN –MODHERA - AHMEDABAD
Proceed to modhera , visit modera sun temple and Rani ki vaav at patan. Then proceed to Akshardham and enjoy water show at Akshardham.
Day 11 : AHMEDABAD – DEPARTURE
After breakfast, Proceed to airport/train station to board flight/train to hometown with sweet memories!!
