Kevadia

Kevadia (now known as Ekta Nagar) is a census town in Narmada district in the Indian state of Gujarat. This tiny village in tribal Narmada District hasn’t overpowered the senses of the wanderers for many years as many of us were unfamiliar about this place but with the inauguration of the Statue of Unity in 2018, the state government’s initiative to bring Kevadia as a lovely tourist spot is successful and now you will be amazed to see Kevadia’s beauty and serenity.

It houses the mighty Sardar Sarovar Dam reservoir on Narmada River. Kevadia is nestled between the lofty mountains of Satpura and Vindhyachal. No doubt why it is a paradise of greenery and serene landscapes. The only concern about Kevadia is its due recognition which we as travellers must give by visiting this awesome tourist destination in Gujarat.
